Sokun Vireakboth
Graphic Designer
"I'm here at YoungEco to weave stories of sustainability through design, one pixel at a time."
It all started with a simple love for drawing. As a kid, I'd spend hours filling notebooks with fantastical creatures and funny characters. But then, something shifted. A pile of plastic bags from countless snack runs suddenly struck me. The realization of their environmental impact ignited a spark of concern for the well-being of my "house environment" – the very planet we call home.
From that day on, I became hyper-aware of my choices. What I brought home, what I consumed, it all mattered. I began to delve deeper, researching environmental issues plaguing our world. But for a long time, these two passions – graphic design and environmental care – felt like separate entities.
Then came YoungEco. This incredible team showed me how to bridge the gap between my artistic skills and my environmental concerns. Here, my creative passion found purpose. I could use my graphic design skills to spread awareness about environmental issues, to create impactful educational materials for the next generation. Suddenly, my love for nature and my artistic talent were no longer separate; they were part of a powerful force for good.
My journey is far from over, but looking back, I see a clear path. From a kid with a crayon to a designer with a mission, I've learned that even the smallest spark can ignite a fire for change. And with YoungEco by my side, I'm confident that my creative flames will continue to burn bright, illuminating a greener future for generations to come.
